*2 months old*

Our little sassafras turned two months old on September 24th! Her pediatrician proclaimed her one healthy doll (I hear that a lot...and it's true, not only in the cutesie sense, but she resembles a baby doll sometimes). She has evened out a little and is now in the 50th percentile for both length (now 22 1/4...she grew 2 inches in a month) and weight (a whopping 9 pounds, 13 ounces ;). While she takes after her brother looks-wise, she is much tinier. At this age, O weighed more than 11 pounds and rolled from his back to belly already. Olive has rolled from her belly to back though, perhaps motivated by her dislike for being on her stomach. I'm not too worried about her not following in Owen's milestone footsteps...she just seems more laid back than him. And she sleeps MUCH better than he ever did! chuckle. Olive settles down for the night at 1:30, and has been sleeping between 5 and 7 hours a night for weeks now. All I can say is *thank you*. I don't feel as sleep deprived as I did the first time around. Our little Livy continues to be a quite friendly, smiley, happy baby, and yesterday she *laughed* for the first time! It sounded soooo adorable! I'm hoping for a repeat giggle session soon so Roby can hear that sweet sound.

who, me?
